Introduction
This theme challenges stereotypes and simplistic representations by exploring shared experiences, values and connections between Wales and Lesotho. The activities encourage learners to move beyond “single stories” and recognise both common humanity and cultural complexity. The pack supports inclusive, anti-racist and globally informed thinking through dialogue and comparison.
Resources
This theme encourages learners to critically examine how we respond to global issues. Moving beyond simple ideas of helping, the pack introduces questions of fairness, power, voice and partnership. Through discussion, scenarios and reflective activities, learners explore the difference between charity-based responses and approaches rooted in solidarity, justice and long-term change.
