THE IMPORTANCE OF WELSH TO US
Dolen has always prided itself in being a bilingual and even trilingual organisation with Welsh, English and Sesotho.
We are a Welsh charity first and foremost. We are working in the small African Kingdom of Lesotho and are proud that many of the children in schools will greet us in Welsh. We want to make sure as far as we can that the Welsh language runs through the heart of our organisation.
OUR “CYNNIG CYMRAEG” – WELSH OFFER
Choosing to communicate in Welsh will be an easy, automatic step for anyone contacting Dolen, and we will communicate in your preferred language wherever possible.
We will encourage and support staff and volunteers to learn Welsh and encourage the informal use of Welsh at work.
We will continually look for ways to improve our Welsh Offer by listening to supporters and develop our provision year on year.
