Climate Justice
Introduction
This theme explores climate change through the lens of fairness and systems thinking. Rather than focusing only on individual behaviour, learners are encouraged to consider how climate issues are connected to inequality, access to resources and global responsibility. Through comparison, discussion and problem-solving tasks, pupils examine how environmental issues affect communities differently and what a fairer future might look like.
Resources
This theme encourages learners to critically examine how we respond to global issues. Moving beyond simple ideas of helping, the pack introduces questions of fairness, power, voice and partnership. Through discussion, scenarios and reflective activities, learners explore the difference between charity-based responses and approaches rooted in solidarity, justice and long-term change.
