Basotho–Wales Innovation & Youth Enterprise
Introduction
This theme explores innovation, creativity and problem-solving across Wales and Lesotho. Through case studies, discussion activities and reflective tasks, learners are encouraged to move beyond deficit narratives and recognise the strengths, leadership and enterprise that already exist within communities. The pack supports asset-based and anti-racist approaches to global learning by centring local knowledge, youth voice and community innovation.
Resources
This theme encourages learners to critically examine how we respond to global issues. Moving beyond simple ideas of helping, the pack introduces questions of fairness, power, voice and partnership. Through discussion, scenarios and reflective activities, learners explore the difference between charity-based responses and approaches rooted in solidarity, justice and long-term change.
